This is a text site. It sets no advertising cookies and runs no tracking scripts.

What is collected

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — the page requested, the time, a truncated network address and the browser's own description of itself. These are used to see which pages are read and to spot faults, and they are discarded on a rolling basis.

Fonts

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to that service when a page opens. That request is subject to Google's own privacy terms.

Email

If you write to us, we keep the message so that we can answer it. We do not add correspondents to any mailing list, because there is no mailing list.

Changes

If this ever stops being true — if we add a newsletter, for instance — this page will be updated before the change is made, not afterwards.
